PLM Nordic - Market Expansion & Business Setup Intern – US Market Launch

About the Role

PLM Nordic is scaling its footprint by establishing a standalone US entity to deliver PLM services, software products, and AI solutions. We are seeking a proactive, analytical business student for a 3-month internship to lead the market entry framework. You will work directly with executive leadership to complete the groundwork required to launch operations, secure entity registration, and prepare investor pitches.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal & Structural Setup: Research optimal US incorporation options (e.g., Delaware C-Corp vs. LLC) and map out state-level tax, labor, and compliance regulations.
• Location & Operations Selection: Identify strategic US hubs (e.g., Texas, East Coast tech hubs) based on customer proximity, talent access, and corporate tax rates.
• Financial & Pitch Deck Prep: Develop financial models for US revenue/P&L projections and build pitch decks to present to internal employees, external co-investors, and partners.
• Service Provider Selection: Identify and vetting US-based accounting, legal, payroll, and banking partners suitable for scaling software/consulting startups.
• Go-To-Market Market Research: Assist in mapping potential target accounts within existing PLM Nordic client networks and regional US industrials.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or Innovation/Entrepreneurship.
• Strong analytical skills, self-driven, and comfortable with independent market research.
• Fluency in English (professional requirement for US legal and vendor interactions).
• Prior experience or interest in technology sectors, cross-border corporate setup, or early-stage venture building.
